At CHAMPS, we believe that success leaves clues and no better people to help lead the charge for our students than those who have already blazed the trail. Our mentoring program matches up current Cayon High students and successful alumni who know best what the journey is like, because they have been there. Mentors guide students through important academic and career choices through personalized mentoring sessions, career shadowing experiences, and leadership workshops.

Our mentors offer so much more than advice — they are providing pathways to internships, helpful industry insights, and tools that help students hone their professional abilities. Mentors make sure that students are prepared for the opportunities at their disposal, from resume building all the way to interview preparation. We meet virtually weekly but monthly in person for check-ins that form a rigid but malleable framework for growth and development.
