Annual Function

At CHAMPS, Annual Functions inspire innovative souls and give them a moment to shine. Every year, we turn Cayon High School into a display of student talent, alumni success, and community partnership. This flagship event includes student performances, appreciation ceremonies for outstanding mentors, and the highly anticipated CHAMPS Impact Awards that showcase individuals who have gone the extra mile to support our mission. The evening features our Legacy Dinner, where generations of Cayon High School community members reminisce, rebuild and strengthen relationships, and recommit to our understanding of educational excellence.

Fundraisers

Our fundraising programs marry mission and imagination, making sure our critical programs and initiatives are supported for the long haul. We offer a number of events throughout the year including: the CHAMPS Charity Gala, Alumni Golf Tournament, and Digital Dreams tech-athon which provides an opportunity for students and alumni to work together on real-world projects while helping support fundraising. Those events have invariably surpassed sustainability goals and allowed us to broaden our levels of mentorship and boost education in Cayon High School.

Past Events

We have mobilized our community in impactful events that have touched people in many ways. From the Senior Citizens Hamper distribution, which brought so much joy to our elderly members of the community, to our Father’s Day memorial, providing healing and solace for fathers grieving their loss. We have made generous donations to local organizations that support cancer survivors and attended memorial services that brought a sense of community and connection. From our crime prevention focused youth outreach events, what some have called a ripple effect can be seen in the community, while our partnership with the shut-in to ensure that no constituent gets left behind.
